Live Longer, You'll see life can even bring down the strong

The world's first fully painted feature film, LOVING VINCENT. This movie is the most beautiful movie that I have ever seen. The story, art, and dialogue, everything is brilliant.

THE PROCESS

So about this film, Loving Vincent is an animation directed by Dorota Kobiela. What is unique about this film is, they make an animation about why Vincent Van Gogh ended his own life with Vincent Van Gogh's painting style. I think this movie will make Vincent Van Gogh cry if he was still alive. Generated by 65,000 paintings by over 100 artists, Loving Vincent is a living work of art. First shot as a live-action depiction then adapted into paintings, the immersive gallery of scenes is a first in a new format of animation.

THE STORY

Synopsis: One year after Vincent Van Gogh's suicide, postman Joseph Roulin asks his son Armand to deliver Van Gogh's last letter to his brother, Theo. Roulin finds the death suspicious, as merely weeks earlier Van Gogh claimed through letters that his mood was calm and normal. Armand reluctantly agrees and heads for Paris.

a Montmartre art supplier, tells Armand that Theo actually died six months after Vincent. He suggests that Armand travel to Auvers-Sur-Oise and look for Dr. Paul Gachet who housed Van Gogh after his release from an asylum, shared his love for art, and attended the funeral. Once there, Armand learns that the doctor is out on business. So he stays at the same inn that Van Gogh did during his time in the area.

Dr. Gachet finally returns and promises to deliver Armand's letter to Theo's widow. He admits there was an argument between them – Van Gogh accused Gachet of being a coward for not pursuing his dreams, to which Gachet angrily accused Van Gogh of worsening Theo's health by overly depending on his brother. Gachet posits that this accusation drove Van Gogh to suicide in order to release Theo from the burden.

The animation process itself needs 6 years to finish. There's so much enthusiasm and patient in the process. And the result is so worth it. It's so beautiful and crazy. I feel an emotional connection when Vincent Van Gogh cries in his bed. The expression and sadness of Vincent Van Gogh can make me feel complex emotions. The feeling of giving up, misery, loneliness. and another negative feeling. There's no dialogue, but just art that tells the feeling.

THE LESSON

You want to know so much about his death, but what do you know of his life?

From my own assumption, I think there's so much complication behind Vincent Van Gogh's emotion. There will come thought like "Maybe it's better for everyone if I just disappear." or thought like "I'm a burden for people that I love, it's better for me to disappear. My existence itself is useless and not worth living." Maybe he is scared, he will make Theo, his brother in trouble. Not have much money because Theo have to give money to Vincent and his family. I think it's not as simple as he gives up on his life, his career, or his passion. From what I know is Vincent wants people to feel deeply through his paint. He also survives from mental illness and his art is not appreciated by people. Something that kills you inside is yourself. Your thought.

"Live longer, you'll see life can even bring down the strong"

And in the end of the feeling, there's a letter from Vincent Van Gogh that will be read by Armand. I called it "Who Am I In The Eyes of The Most People"
THE SCENERY
Do you want to live inside Vincent Van Gogh painting?

If you love van Gogh or just his paintings, this will draw you into both his paintings and his life and what people thought of him.

Something that you don't understand well, will look so beautiful. Because it seems flawless, but you don't know yet. How in the world people can make this masterpiece? This is so beautiful, stunning. and I can't even describe it with words. There's so much thing that is indescribable in the world.
